From Integration to Inspiration: Profisee’s Highlights At FabCon 2024

What an exhilarating week it has been for Profisee at the inaugural Microsoft Fabric Community conference (FabCon) 2024! I am excited to share several exciting developments from Profisee and our partners at Microsoft this week at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas

Microsoft Purview Integration Reaches New Heights

One of the highlights of the week was witnessing the culmination of over 2 years of collaboration with the Microsoft Purview team.

We were proud to be on-hand to hear Microsoft announce the public preview of the latest release of the Purview platform, which showcased seamless integration with Profisee. This integration allows for the fluid exchange of data assets and governance metadata between Profisee and Purview, empowering organizations to maintain unified governance across their data sources.

A standout feature of the latest Purview release is the all-new Data Catalog experience tailored for business users. With Business Domains and Data Products, organizations can now efficiently organize their extensive data estates, making it simpler for users to discover and access relevant data assets.

Profisee’s direct integration with Purview’s Data Catalog ensures that Master Data Products can be effortlessly built while enabling users to explore and access data managed within Profisee.

We have always emphasized the importance of closely integrating with Purview to activate unified governance across all data sources, thereby driving AI-enablement across the enterprise at scale.

Empowering AI Enablement at Scale with Microsoft Fabric

During the conference, I had the privilege of co-presenting a session on AI-Enablement at Scale alongside Patrick Baumgartner, Group Program Manager of the Microsoft Fabric leadership team.

Patrick, a key figure in the development of Fabric’s Copilot experiences, highlighted how high-quality data, enriched with context, forms the foundation for Copilot’s enterprise data utilization.

And for the first time, I showcased in a live demonstration how Profisee seamlessly integrates with both Purview and Fabric to capture governance requirements, enforce them across diverse datasets, and deliver actionable insights directly within Fabric. This demonstration provided a clear blueprint for AI enablement at scale, illustrating how organizations can harness the power of AI-based tools to drive insights rapidly.

Looking Ahead: Profisee and Microsoft Fabric’s Promising Future

As we reflect on this exhilarating week, it is evident that Microsoft Fabric is poised to revolutionize enterprise data management. The palpable excitement from the audience reaffirms our belief that Fabric will be a groundbreaking platform for organizations seeking to unlock the full potential of their data, particularly in the realm of AI-driven insights.

As a master data management (MDM) company dedicated to delivering AI-ready data, we are thrilled to embark on this journey alongside our esteemed partner, Microsoft. Together, we are committed to empowering organizations to harness the power of data and drive innovation in the digital age.

Stay tuned as we continue to pioneer new frontiers in enterprise data management and AI-enablement. The future is bright, and we are excited to be at the forefront of this transformative journey.
