WSP Global’s rapid growth through mergers and acquisitions — expanding from 15,000 employees in 2012 to over 73,000 today — brought significant data challenges. WSP knew that duplicate and overlapping customer relationships existed but lacked clear visibility. Across global data sources, WSP identified 73,000 active customer accounts. Using Profisee, these were consolidated and resolved to 43,000 unique global customers.
The Chief Client Officer’s team discovered that over 50% of active customers had relationships across multiple regions and business lines — a level of visibility they had never achieved before. With Profisee’s advanced matching tuned to WSP’s data, 91% of relationships were resolved automatically without data steward intervention.
