ALPHARETTA, Ga., February 26, 2025 — Profisee, the leading provider of global cloud-based master data management (MDM) software, announced today that its groundbreaking native MDM experience is now available in public preview for Microsoft Fabric users worldwide.
This milestone positions Profisee as the sole MDM provider offering an integrated solution within Microsoft Fabric, empowering users to define, manage and leverage master data products directly within the platform.
Initially announced in private preview in September 2024, the Profisee MDM workload for Microsoft Fabric is now accessible to all Profisee customers running the latest 2024R2 release as well as any Microsoft Fabric user through a trial experience.
“High-quality master data is at the heart of unlocking the potential of enterprise data,” said Eric Melcher, Chief Technology Officer at Profisee. “With this new integration, we are giving Microsoft customers the tools they need to manage trusted, consistent and actionable data at scale directly within the Fabric ecosystem.”
Developed through a close collaboration as a design partner for the Microsoft Fabric Extensibility SDK, this integration allows users to seamlessly enhance their master data quality and management processes without leaving the Fabric environment.
Key Features in Public Preview Include:
- Data Modeling: Define and structure master data entities directly within the Fabric platform.
- Data Stewardship: Access, review and edit master data records seamlessly through Fabric’s native interface.
- Data Quality: Detect and resolve data inconsistencies directly within Fabric, ensuring reliable actionable insights.
Additional capabilities include single sign-on (SSO) authentication and native integration with OneLake, Microsoft Fabric’s unified data lake, ensuring a secure and efficient experience.
