After an initial announcement at the 2023 Build event in May, Microsoft announced today that Adaptive Cards-based Loop components are now in public preview with Profisee as a strategic partner, empowering master data management (MDM) users to steward and manage data directly in the Microsoft 365 tools they already use and love.
Microsoft first announced Adaptive Cards as an open card exchange format that enabled developers to exchange UI content in a common and consistent way. More than links to other systems, users can view, edit and transform data directly in Outlook and Teams.
Today, Profisee has co-developed an integration with Microsoft Adaptive Cards that allows Profisee users to collaborate on the stewardship of data in the tools they already use every day, Microsoft 365 Outlook and Teams. With Adaptive Cards, users can share, edit and collaborate on the stewardship of master data directly in Outlook and Teams, without having to context switch, disrupting their existing workflow.
While power users can always use the consumer-grade UI of Profisee’s dedicated stewardship portal, Adaptive Cards help expand the value of MDM by making it more accessible to business owners, leaders or any other role.
