At Profisee, our mission has always been simple: making MDM easy.

Today, we’re taking one of our boldest steps yet to deliver on that mission with the public launch of Aisey — Profisee’s always-on, interactive AI assistant purpose-built to make MDM easy.

Generally available to Profisee customers and partners in our 2025 R3 release, Aisey is designed to drastically reduce the time, effort and expertise required to configure and manage data in Profisee.

Whether you’re just learning how to use Profisee, are configuring complex solutions or are a business user managing data, Aisey helps you move faster. She also has autonomous agents to automate data management tasks, day or night.

The road to Aisey began with AI automation in 2023. We’ve steadily expanded AI capabilities as we build an agentic model that will let our customers leverage AI to scale MDM faster and easier.

Our customers have been leveraging AI workflows to not just make MDM easier — but achieve things that would have taken hours of manual work or additional FTEs to execute.

We’ve also long believed that data stewardship shouldn’t be painful. It should be intelligent, guided and automated wherever possible. Our investments in UI configurability, intelligent match tuning and metadata-driven modeling paved the way for what Aisey is now delivering.

So while Aisey is new in name, the foundation has been in place — and working for our customers — for years.

This isn’t AI for AI’s sake. Profisee’s AI capabilities are focused on solving real-world problems and delivering real value for our customers. It’s the culmination of strategic investment in the product, guided by feedback from our customers — and a foundational leap toward the future of data management.

This trusted data on our customers’ most critical business data, combined with contextual metadata, gives our customers the semantic layer they need to leverage AI to truly revolutionize the way they do business.

Profisee has been fueling AI initiatives for hundreds of enterprises like Lexmark, Nestlé Purina and more for years. Our platform helps organizations operationalize intelligence across the enterprise by ingesting, mastering and governing data.

From integrating into Microsoft Fabric and Azure to delivering harmonized master data into lakehouse environments like Databricks or Snowflake, to providing out of the box tools and agents that plug into the broader AI ecosystem, Profisee provides the structured data, enabled by leading edge AI technologies, to power AI initiatives.

In the end, we look at AI from two perspectives:

1. How can we leverage AI inside of Profisee to accelerate the configuration and usage of Profisee, i.e., make MDM easy?
2. How can we plug Profisee into the broader AI ecosystem, so that master data can be readily accessed and used as part of broader enterprise AI solutions.

1. Meet Aisey: Your AI Partner for Master Data

Now, we’re taking everything we’ve built — our existing AI features and MDM-specific skills — and bringing them together in a single, unified experience with Aisey.

With Aisey, users can now access the full power of AI in one place: a chat-based interface designed to help you steward, administer and manage data across the Profisee Platform — faster, smarter and with less effort.

With the 2025 R3 release, we’re introducing a major evolution in how users interact with Profisee:

• Aisey: A natural language interface that understands the context of what you’re doing and helps you configure, navigate and manage data in Profisee. Our goal is that anything you can do today in Profisee with a keyboard and mouse, Aisey can also do for you in an interactive chat. Aisey has two primary ways she can seamlessly assist you:
  • Knowledge: Aisey has access to a wealth of Profisee knowledge, from documentation to best practices. She is like having a sidekick with years of Profisee MDM experience at your side. Aisey delivers contextual MDM expert knowledge anytime you need it.
  • Skills: Aisey helps you get your job done with skills that can be triggered as part of the conversation. Ask Aisey to do something, and she’ll do it for you. From building an entity model to suggesting match rules to configuring data quality. Numerous skills are available to our users in 2025 R3 — including the ability to build your data model, navigate to data, view and edit records and import data are there today — with more to be delivered later this year across core features of the Profisee Platform, including survivorship, matching administration and more.
• Aisey Agents: One of the age-old issues in MDM is the ongoing effort required to manage the data. Aisey Agents solve that in a way that was previously not possible. The goal is to automate everything possible and reserve humans only for when human knowledge and intuition is required. Aisey Agents are always-on, autonomous workers that automatically wake up and take action when needed

These productized, scalable capabilities have been developed to solve the very real challenges that our customers have shared with us — and they’re purpose-built to help us achieve our fundamental goal of making MDM easy.

2. Profisee in the Broader AI Ecosystem

Profisee and Aisey make it easier for teams to create and manage master data. That’s a great first step, but then we want to enable the master data in Profisee to be leveraged as a part of broader enterprise AI solutions. Imagine a future where your AI assistant can orchestrate multi-step workflows leveraging different agents, including Profisee agents. This is the future of how work will get done.

The key to this is agents — agents are like specialized digital teammates who can understand intent, take action and collaborate with other agents to move work forward. By linking different specialized agents together, they can coordinate steps in a larger workflow, like onboarding a new customer or orchestrating a task that spans multiple business functions and applications.

To support this future, we’re working with Microsoft to make Profisee available as an intelligent agent within their ecosystem — including consumer tools like Microsoft Teams and Copilot. That means Profisee will be able to work directly alongside Microsoft’s own AI agents and those from other partners, all within a shared environment.

This integration — built through Microsoft Copilot Studio and Azure AI Foundry — allows trusted master data to be an active participant in the broader AI ecosystem in the applications users are already using to engage AI.

In this future, Profisee will do more than manage data behind the scenes. It will become a smart, trustworthy agent itself — understanding the shape and meaning of your most important business data and providing key structured master data to make better decisions and drive operations faster.

We’re building toward that future today — and we believe that data management will be one of the critical pre-requisites for these kinds of intelligent, connected systems to take off.

Why AI-Driven MDM Matters

You won’t find Aisey making opaque decisions or operating outside your governance guardrails. But you will find her doing the work — autonomously, whenever possible. From rule enforcement to data review, Aisey replaces manual effort in places where humans shouldn’t be needed, so stewards can stay focused on the calls that do require judgment.
