Profisee Announces Master Data Maestro Solution for Azure Cloud

ATLANTA, GA—December 16, 2014— Profisee, a master data management software company, announces the availability of Master Data Maestro for Microsoft’s Azure Cloud platform. Now companies can take advantage of Maestro’s real-time operational master data management (MDM) to deploy comprehensive multi-domain MDM solutions that are based in the Azure cloud, on-premise, or in hybrid implementations.

Azure Marketplace – Maestro All-in-One Virtual Machine

For evaluations, proofs-of-concept, pilots or MDM applications focused on immediate improvement to an existing Microsoft Master Data Services application, Profisee offers an all-in-one virtual machine – everything needed to run Master Data Maestro – via Azure Marketplace. This configuration delivers all of the functionality of Microsoft SQL Server Enterprise Edition, Microsoft Master Data Services, and Profisee’s Master Data Maestro Base Server.

Azure Complete

Profisee has certified the entire Master Data Maestro suite to run on Microsoft Azure. Customers are recommended to use Profisee “Bring Your Own License” (BYOL) extensions to the All-In-One configuration to extend the virtual machine into any number of hybrid on-premise and cloud-based server configurations, supporting load balancing and multi-tier architectures. This approach allows organizations to match and merge any combination of Azure servers for the database, application, and processing layers, using either a Microsoft Enterprise Agreement with Cloud Enrollment, or through the public Azure Marketplace. Organizations may also jump directly to a BYOL license, using either existing or new licenses of Maestro in any Azure hybrid configuration.

According to Profisee CEO Ian Ahern, “For organizations that are looking for a comprehensive enterprise-wide MDM solution in the cloud, Profisee offers a complete Master Data Maestro configuration for Azure and on-premise. This configuration adds Maestro functionality and capacity to handle extremely high-volume matching and mastering, with load-balancing, available data quality solutions, workflow management and real-time integration.”

Tyler Graham, Director of Development responsible for Profisee’s cloud strategy, adds, “As with Azure, our focus is on hybrid cloud solutions and application portability. Being able to kick off MDM initiatives using Azure helps companies handle POCs and manage the development load. Subsequently, each customer may determine their own optimal production architecture. Maestro applications can be deployed and re-deployed into the cloud or on-premise as requirements and architecture dictate. We see this changing over the lifetimes of various MDM applications, and it is not going to be standard for any one application or industry. This is the strength of Azure, and we are ensuring that Maestro customers can fully leverage this strength.”

Profisee can provide comprehensive audits and guidance to organizations that are moving existing MDS applications to the cloud, and enable such applications with Master Data Maestro capabilities, both on premise and in the cloud. Server sizing and configuration advice is available from Profisee, as are all the MDM Azure Services that may be needed for the successful configuration, installation, and processing of MDM applications.
