Tyler Graham Joins Master Data Management Firm Profisee as Industry Solutions Product Director

ATLANTA, GA — May 10, 2012— Profisee (, a master data management and data quality software company, is pleased to announce a key appointment to drive the execution of the roadmap at Profisee. Tyler Graham has joined the company to head up Profisee’s Master Data Management Industry Solutions. For the last four years, Tyler Graham has been a key member of the Microsoft Master Data Services (MDS) team in Redmond, focused most recently as a Senior Program Manager responsible for many of the new feature design and implementations contained within SQLServer 2012 Master Data Services.

A key element to Profisee’s long term product strategy roadmap is to leverage both the success of Master Data Services and Profisee’s Master Data Maestro software to create industry templates and applications. Tyler will work closely with the Research and Development team and the Client Services team at Profisee to create best of breed industry specific MDM models.

Commenting on his vision for his new role, Tyler states, “Microsoft’s Master Data Services (MDS) has more than established its credentials delivering industry strength Master Data Management applications in a wide variety of industries and in businesses and organizations of all sizes. Profisee has delivered more production MDS based applications than any other partner globally, and their proprietary Master Data Maestro software has provided a material edge to Microsoft customers looking to leverage MDS for large volume applications, especially around domains requiring complex and scalable golden record management. I truly enjoyed my time working from Microsoft, but one undesired effect of working in R&D at such a large software company is the distance from MDM implementations on the ground at individual customers. In this new role, my vision is to become a vital link between the technology and its industry and customer specific implementation. By delivering industry models, we have an opportunity to shape best practices and best of breed model designs into Master Data models for use globally.”

When asked about the approach to delivering models, Tyler adds, “having personally worked in many industries helping design master data models for multiple domains, and combined with Profisee’s extensive experience, we determined we could build many models ourselves. However, our desire is to be completely open and adopt best practices and standards wherever defined and practical. So we will announce several alliances and partnerships along with our industry solutions roadmap come March. Our goal will be to leverage the Computer Associates ERWin technology announced previously, combined with operational and data warehouse data models, and our own collective experience to create true best of breed master data models based on industry standards.”

Tyler is co-author of the first text book on Microsoft Master Data Services entitled “Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 Master Data Services” (ISBN 007175623X ) and published by McGraw Hill. Based on the new SQLServer2012 Master Data Services which was recently released, “Microsoft SQL Server 2012 Master Data Services,” 2nd Edition (ISBN 0071797858), is due to be released in October 2012.
