Presenting Sessions on Master Data Management with MDS, Maestro
ATLANTA, GA—October 2, 2014— Profisee, a master data management and data quality software company, announces its participation as a Platinum Sponsor of Pittsburgh SQLSaturday #315, being held at the Pittsburgh Technical Institute; and as a Gold Sponsor of Charlotte, BI Edition SQLSaturday #330, being held at Central Piedmont Community College – Levine Campus; both taking place on October 4th. As part of the educational sessions featured at the Pittsburgh event, Profisee’s Pam Matthews will present a beginner-level session on Master Data Management (MDM) best practices, and at the Charlotte event Profisee’s Gene Webb will present a beginner-level session on building an MDM Center of Excellence. Both presenters will also offer lunchtime learning sessions at the events.
According to Matthews, “In ‘The Quest for the Golden Record: MDM Best Practices’ session we will focus on how to formulate an MDM strategy and build a solution to find the single version of the truth, aka the Golden Record. For purposes of this session, we will demonstrate building a sample Customer domain, showing how to leverage SQL Server Master Data Services (MDS) and other tools for data quality, matching, and de-duplication across multiple data sources.”
In Webb’s session, he says, “Attendees will learn how to build an MDM Center of Excellence incorporating best practices, using SQL Server MDS and Profisee's Maestro product. The session will demonstrate building a complete sample customer domain, including data quality, merge, match and de-duplication, and business workflow.”
“We are pleased to be a SQL Saturday Sponsor, helping the PASS community to offer these important educational events free of charge for SQL Server professionals,” comments John Leavitt, Profisee VP of Marketing.
