Roman Rytov Joins Profisee as Principal and Master Data Management Director

ATLANTA, GA – August 3, 2009 – Profisee (www.profisee.com), a specialized services company focused on financial analytics, operational analytics and master data management, is pleased to announce the completion of recruiting for its Professional Services Executive Management Team with the addition of Roman Rytov as Company Principal and Practice Director for Profisee's Master Data Management practice.

Rytov joins Profisee from SAP where he has been a key player in the provision of SAP's Master Data Management solutions. Rytov's most recent role at SAP was as Product Director with responsibilities for SAP's Master Data Management product and customer projects around the world.

Commenting on Rytov's appointment, Ian Ahern, Profisee founder and CEO notes, "Roman is a key strategic recruitment for Profisee. Following the sale of our prior MDM product and company to Microsoft in 2007 to form the heart of their Master Data Services product within SQL Server 2008, the market assumed all our experience and focus was biased exclusively toward Microsoft technologies and platforms. Roman brings years of experience focused on MDM and other large-scale, enterprise data management challenges for many of the world's largest companies based solely on the SAP platform. His appointment and experience forms a perfect counter balance to our existing MDM team and their skills and experience. Our investment in Roman reflects both our growing business and the growing recognition for the importance of MDM in all integration, data governance and enterprise analytics applications."

"There's no doubt Microsoft's acquisition of technology from Profisee's predecessor Stratature fundamentally shifts the MDM landscape," comments Rytov. “The analyst firms such as Gartner recognized at the time of the Stratature acquisition that Stratature led the market in the niche area of analytical MDM and associated hierarchy management. This has been, and continues to be, a strong area for Profisee's MDM practice."

Rytov adds as his opinion and vision, "With the scale of resources and the technical platform behind Enterprise SQL Server, global enterprise-scale MDM initiatives around Product and Customer domains will bring Microsoft's Master Data Services into direct competition with vendors like SAP, Oracle and IBM. Profisee is the world's leading implementer of Microsoft MDS; they have continued to support Stratature customers after the acquisition and have helped companies participate in Microsoft's MDS pre-release programs for the last 2 years.

"My personal vision for MDM centers on repeatable applications designed for specific industries and with the delivery of important extensions to core MDM platform technologies to enable large enterprises to succeed with MDM while optimizing the cost of implementation and maintenance. Profisee's MDS Essentials will initiate this vision in Q4 this year. The extension of MDS Essentials with version 2 and availability in 2010 will coincide with the SQL Server 2008 R2 release and will prove key to helping many organizations succeed with MDS."

Any organization looking to tackle MDM applications for the first time, or larger companies seeking advice and support with existing initiatives should be comfortable reaching out to Rytov. Roman Rytov can be reached at +1.678.561.2221 and roman.rytov@profisee.com.
