Through a combination of lecture, demonstration and self-paced practice, MDS001 students learn the basic functions of the Microsoft MDS Explorer as well as how to work with Version Management. The Explorer allows end-users to maintain the members in a master model—entities, hierarchies, collections and related members and attributes.

MDS Data Steward Education is broken down into six parts. This allows the instructor to pace the class as necessary, making sure that everyone thoroughly understands each concept and functionality of the product.
