Ian Ahern :: Principal and CEO
Profisee founder and CEO Ian Ahern started his career in the banking and securities industries in London. In the 1980s, Ian joined Gentia Software, a leading UK-based BI software company, ultimately serving as Vice President of client services for the Americas and assisting Gentia with their IPO on NASDAQ. Ian then joined UK-based ALG Software, initially serving as Vice President for client services, and ultimately assuming responsibility for all services, sales and marketing in the Americas, leading up to the company’s acquisition by Business Objects. Ian then spent a year building a successful client services organization for Atlanta-based wireless start-up, Air2Web.
Ian returned to his focus on enterprise reporting, planning, and business intelligence with the founding of Stratature In 2001, developing and successfully bringing to market +EDM (Enterprise Dimension Manager) software, which was rapidly adopted by enterprise marketing and finance functions to quickly became the market leader for the management of complex master data and reporting hierarchies. In 2007, Stratature was acquired by Microsoft Corporation, which incorporated the technology into its SQL Server Master Data Services platform.
After the transition, Ian and the former Stratature team re-joined forces to form Profisee, where they have leveraged their tremendous success with Master Data Management to provide world-class MDM software, services, education, and methodologies dedicated to empowering the Microsoft MDS platform.
Tony Braniff :: COO North America
Tony is a veteran software industry entrepreneur with deep experience in business intelligence, financial modeling, and management reporting technology. Tony has successfully built and grown software businesses in the U.K., Scandinavia, Germany, Eastern Europe, South Africa, and the United States, including: co-founding and building ALG Software’s North American business leading up to the $60m sale of this enterprise performance management company to Business Objects; and co-founding and driving the South Africa-based Xpertek Financial Software business to profitability in advance of a company sale.
Tony’s early career was spent at Comshare Inc., an innovative software vendor that defined the business intelligence marketplace. At Comshare, Tony progressed through various senior sales management positions to be appointed to the European Board of the company, being ultimately responsible for a $40m business sector. Most recently, Tony was EVP Sales and Marketing at Whoop, Inc., a SaaS-based mobile applications company.
Tony’s leadership experience as a ‘C’ level executive in international operations, sales, and marketing gives him significant insights into driving technology businesses to return the highest value for investors and shareholders.
Tony holds a BA (Hons) degree in Business Studies from De Montfort University in the UK.
Jeff Wilson :: Chief Marketing Officer
Jeff is a senior executive with over 20 years of experience in the software industry, building and transforming businesses in multiple industries and markets. Working in all aspects of business, Jeff has extensive background in leading sales and marketing teams, and driving go-to-market execution and operational efficiency. He has held prior senior management positions at ORTEC, INMAR, ARIBA, PROCURI and AGILE, and is widely recognized for his strategic vision and team-building finesse.
He complements the wealth of BI and MDM knowledge on the management team with business-process centric experience in software, cloud, and subscription business models – expertise perfectly suited for growing our global MDM presence.”

Val Lovicz :: CTO and VP Research & Development
As CTO and VP of research and development, Val brings to Profisee 20 years of software development and implementation experience, with specialization in master data management, business intelligence, financial planning, and ERP.
Prior to Profisee, Val was a co-founder of Stratature, where he drove the creation of +EDM for master data management. Following the acquisition of Stratature by Microsoft, Val joined Microsoft as a Principal Program Manager where he managed the conversion of +EDM into SQL Server 2008 R2 Master Data Services (MDS), and delivered key new features such as the Web services API. Thereafter, Val rejoined his former colleagues at Profisee to continue developing master data management solutions based on MDS.
Prior to Stratature, Val was with Air2Web, directing development teams delivering leading-edge wireless e-commerce applications to large clients. Previously, as part of the BI consulting practice at ALG Software, Val managed numerous successful BI implementations for Fortune 100 clients in a variety of industries. Val began his career as an engineer with Furon, a global manufacturer, where he lead the development of Furon's first and highly successful global data warehouse and decision support system.
Val graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of South Florida.
Evan Rogoff :: CFO
Evan brings more than 20 years of business, financial, and entrepreneurial experience to his role as chief financial officer of Profisee.
Evan started his career in an entrepreneurial family business, where he served in sales and customer support roles while earning several statutory industry licenses. Upon graduating with high distinction from the University of Michigan Business School, Evan joined Arthur Andersen’s audit practice, where his clients included both large publicly-traded companies and small, entrepreneurial start-ups. He earned his Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation before transferring into a consulting practice within Arthur Anderson, where he provided restructuring consulting services and earned his Certified Turnaround Professional (CTP) designation. Prior to joining Profisee as CFO, Evan also worked for GiftCertificates.com as Director of Finance, and SimTrex as CFO.
Mr. Rogoff holds a BBA with high distinction from the University of Michigan Business School, and is a Certified Public Accountant. He is also a member of the Board of Directors and previously President of the Technology Executives Roundtable, and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
